Frequency dependent phenomena in RLC circuits are basis for both demonstration of phenomena in electricity and electromagnetism and for circuits with resonance phenomena. Usually, the voltage transfer and phase characteristics (i.e. dependence of both amplitude and phase on the driving frequency) are examined as the function of frequency, here the transfer of energy from the source to the load (as in communication devices) is the assignment.
