Το μάθημα αυτο αποτελεί μια εισαγωγη για τον ηλεκτρισμό και συγκεκριμένα για τον στατικο ηλεκτρισμο. Εδώ οι μαθητές θα πρέπει να αποκτήσουν γνώσεις για το τι συμβαίνει κατά την τριβή ενός μπαλονιου με ένα μάλλινο πουλόβερ.Ο κυριότερος στόχοι ειναι να διαπιστώσουν οι μαθητές πειραματικα ότι τα ομώνυμα φορτία απωθούνται ενώ τα ετερώνυμα έλκονται.
