Το ILS αυτό αποτελεί τη συνέχεια του μαθήματος "Εισαγωγικό Μάθημα στα Ηλεκτρικά κυκλώματα" το οποίο είναι ήδη δημοσιευμένο και μπορείτε να το βρείτε εδώ. Σε αυτό λοιπόν το ILS, οι μαθητές διερευνούν περισσότερο τις διαφορές μεταξύ των δύο συνδεσμολογίων, σε σειρά και παράλληλα, συλλέγοντας και αναλύοντας δεδομένα που αφορούν το συνολικό ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα και πώς αυτό επηρεάζεται όταν αυξάνεται ο αριθμός των λαμπτήρων.

Conceptual: Knowledge of interrelationships among the basic elements within a larger structure,
e.g. classifications, principles, theories, etc

Organisational requirements: 

Ο κάθε μαθητής μπορεί να εργαστεί στο δικό του ηλεκτρονικό υπολογιστή, αν αυτό είναι εφικτό ή οι μαθητές μπορούν να συνεργαστούν σε δυάδες. 

Students' prior knowledge: 
Οι μαθητές είναι εξοικειωμένοι με τα δύο είδη συνδεσμολογίας, σε σειρά και παράλληλη, και είναι σε θέση να αναγνωρίζουν τη διαφορά στη φωτεινότητα των λαμπτήρων που συνδέονται σε ένα κύκλωμα σε σειρά και σε ένα κύκλωμα παράλληλα.
