The Experiment Design Tool (EDT) supports planning scientific experiments and recording the results observed. Learners can define several experiment designs from the given set of properties and measures, and enter the values obtained from the corresponding experimental trials. Results can be analysed using either the built-in experiments table in the EDT, or by loading the data set the EDT automatically creates for the Data Viewer.
As a teacher you can change the configuration of this tool. In the configuration menu, which can be entered by clicking the gear icon, you can define a set of properties and measures, suitable for your ILS and indicate the range of values learners can choose from. There are a number of other configuration options available and it is possible to adapt the content of the help file.
