Apps are dedicated software tools that help students in their inquiry learning tasks and help students to create hypotheses, design experiments, make predictions, formulate interpretations of the data, etc. Other learning apps present students, for example, with a quiz or allow students to view online teacher feedback. The apps can be combined with an Online Lab to create an Inquiry Learning Space (ILS). Learning Analytics apps give teachers an overview of students’ progress in the ILS.

If you select apps in Dutch, the descriptions on this website will still be displayed in English. However, when you include the app in an ILS and change the language setting of the ILS to Dutch, the app will be displayed in Dutch within the ILS.

This Padlet app allows students to use a Padlet Wall in an inquiry space. A Padlet wall is a collaborative whiteboard where students can write, add pictures and organise content easily. The teacher can specify a Padlet wall that will be used by all students.

The chat app allows students to communicate with their peers in the same collaboration groups. These groups are defined using the Collaboration Tool (https://www.golabz.eu/app/collaboration-tool).

With this application students are encouraged to reflect on their collaboration skills. To do so, this application uses principles of joint reflection (peer assessment and discussion). Reflection is facilitated in three steps: 1) assessment 2) evaluation 3)goal setting.

This app offers a text area that can be edited by all users of a certain inquiry learning space or a profile owner. History of changes is saved and can be displayed.

When the Collaboration tool is added to an ILS in Graasp, groups of students can share specific apps and labs, which includes viewing the actions and mouse movements of the other students in real-time.
