In this activity students will learn about UV radiation and their relationship with the human body. They will make a research to understand how UV levels vary during the day where they leave and among the world, through a collaborative data gathering platform (globallab), and will discover the level of awareness of their community regarding the benefits and dangers of UV radiation. Students will then make a series of experiments do discover what are the best ways to protect against UV radiation with the use of color changing UV sensitive beads and a UV level scale. Finally, students are challenged to create a final awareness campaign to share with their communities.
