This simulation was made using the Scratch programming environment (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/236087253/) and allows a student to choose one of three weather conditions (sunny, partly cloudy or cloudy). When the Play button is pressed the simulation demonstrates the four main stages of the water cycle:
The sunny condition results in the most precipitation whereas the cloudy condition does not result in any precipitation because not enough evaporation occurred for large water droplets to form during the condensation stage.
